Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 14, 2026

Last Updated: May 14, 2026

Organization For Good LLC ("Organization For Good," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit davidgood.org (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

If you have questions about this policy or want to exercise any of your privacy rights, please reach out through the contact form on the Site or write to us at the mailing address listed at the end of this policy.

1. Who We Are

The Site is owned and operated by Organization For Good LLC, a Michigan limited liability company. Our mailing address is PO Box 143, Byron Center, MI 49315.

This Privacy Policy applies only to the Site. It does not cover information collected through separate agreements (for example, the leadership mentoring program), third-party platforms we link to (such as Amazon, Heartbeat, YouTube, or Meetup), or events held offline. Those have their own privacy practices.

2. Information We Collect

We collect two kinds of information: information you give us directly, and information collected automatically when you visit the Site.

Information You Provide

When you fill out the contact form, you give us:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your reason for contacting us
  • The message you write

We only ask for this so we can reply to you and follow up appropriately. We do not require you to create an account to browse the Site.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies, tracking pixels, and similar technologies. This includes:

  • Your IP address and general location (city and region level)
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • The pages you visit on the Site, time spent, and links you click
  • The website or source that referred you to the Site
  • Date and time of your visit

We use the following analytics and tracking tools:

  • Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook) to measure ad performance and reach similar audiences
  • GoHighLevel built-in tracking, which is the platform that hosts the Site

Each of these tools has its own privacy policy that governs how it handles the information it collects. We encourage you to review them.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your contact form submission
  • Send you follow-up communications related to your inquiry
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
  • Understand how visitors use the Site and which content is helpful
  • Measure the performance of our advertising and outreach
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Protect the Site, our visitors, and our business from fraud, abuse, or harm

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your contact form information with advertisers.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics, performance, and advertising purposes.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Please note that blocking certain cookies may affect how the Site functions for you.

For ad-related tracking, you can opt out through:

  • The Digital Advertising Alliance at https://www.aboutads.info/choices
  • The Network Advertising Initiative at https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices
  • Your device's advertising settings (iOS and Android both offer ad personalization controls)

The Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track ("DNT") browser signals because there is no industry-standard interpretation of those signals. We do honor recognized opt-out preference signals where required by law, including Global Privacy Control ("GPC") for California residents.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only as described below. We do not sell personal information.

  • Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us run the Site and our business, including Google (Analytics), Meta (Pixel), GoHighLevel (hosting and CRM), and our email service provider. These vendors are only permitted to use the information to provide services to us.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, subpoena, or government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
  • Business transfers. If Organization For Good LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your consent. We may share information for any other purpose disclosed to you with your consent.

6. How Long We Keep Information

We keep contact form submissions and related communications for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, maintain a record of our communications, and comply with legal obligations. Typically this is up to seven years; longer if a legal hold applies.

Analytics data is retained according to the default settings of each platform we use, and we adjust those settings periodically.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights regarding your personal information. We honor these rights for all visitors to the Site, regardless of state, to keep things simple.

Rights You May Have

  • Right to know. Request a summary of the personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we share it with.
  • Right to access. Request a copy of the specific personal information we have about you.
  • Right to delete. Request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct. Request that we correct inaccurate personal information about you.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the way those terms are defined under California law. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out method.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information through the Site beyond what you choose to share in a contact form message.
  • Right to non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

How to Exercise Your Rights

Submit your request through the contact form at davidgood.org. Please tell us what right you want to exercise and provide enough information for us to verify your identity. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law, generally 45 days for California requests.

You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will ask the agent to provide written proof of authorization.

If we deny your request, you have the right to appeal. To appeal, reply to our denial through the contact form and explain why you disagree with our decision. We will respond to your appeal within 60 days.

California-Specific Disclosures (CCPA / CPRA)

In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address)
  • Internet or other electronic network activity (browsing behavior on the Site)
  • Geolocation data (approximate, derived from IP)
  • Inferences drawn from the above

We collect this information from you directly through the contact form, and automatically through cookies and tracking pixels. We use it for the purposes described in Section 3, and we share it with the categories of recipients described in Section 5. We do not knowingly sell personal information, and we do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law beyond the analytics and advertising pixel cookies described in this policy. California residents can opt out of cookie-based tracking through the methods listed in Section 4.

We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Other States

If you live in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have similar rights. Submit your request through the contact form and tell us your state of residence so we can apply the right framework.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults only. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information through the Site, please contact us through the contact form so we can delete it.

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") by not directing the Site to children under 13 and not knowingly collecting their information.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect, including using vendors that maintain industry-standard security practices. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You share information with us at your own risk.

If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site contains links to other websites, including Amazon (for books), Heartbeat (for our community), YouTube, Meetup, and others. Once you leave the Site, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites. Please review their privacy policies before sharing information with them.

11. Visitors Outside the United States

The Site is operated from the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer. U.S. data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
